1 Introduction

This is the Privacy Policy of WoHoo ("WoHoo", "we", "us" or "our") and is subject to our Terms of Use. Please continue reading to learn more about our data processing practices. By accessing our WoHoo mobile application ("App") or all services available therein or related thereto (collectively referred to in this Privacy Policy as the "Service"), you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.

When you visit a website or application, we may collect data from you as described below. When you register and use your We will collect data from you to provide the services. The type of data we collect depends on how you use our applications and services.

2. Information We Collect

When you visit and use our websites or apps, install apps on your device, or register for a WoHoo account, we collect some personally identifiable information about you so that we can provide you with our services. More details on this are below.

2.1. “Registration and Account Data”

When you install the Services on your device and/or register for a WoHoo account, both personally and non-personally identifiable information may be collected about you. Types of Registration and Account Data; Data:

Information You Provide (optional) - You may also choose to provide additional personally identifiable information, such as a photo or video of yourself, a description of yourself, and information about your interests. For example, you may indicate your interests in your profile page. Providing such information is completely optional. If you register and log in using your Apple or Google account, we may also collect other information you provide to us. We may sync your WoHoo account between different devices that you use to access our services.

We also use your contact information to market to you where permitted by the laws of your country - for example, if there are new offerings for our Services or updates about changes to our Services, and to help others find your account, if you have set permissions to do so, including through third-party services and client applications. You can use the settings for email and mobile notifications to control the notifications you receive from us. You can also unsubscribe from notifications by following the instructions included in the notification.

In addition to the video calling feature, you can also use our personal text messaging service as part of the application service. When you communicate with others by sending or receiving text messages, we will store and process your communications and information related to them. This includes scanning for malicious content, detecting abuse and prohibited images, and using reported issues. We also use information about who you communicate with and when (but not including those communications) to better understand the use of our services to protect the security and integrity of our platform.

2.3. Log Data

When you view content or otherwise interact with our Services, we receive information that we refer to as “Log Data.”

For example, when you visit our websites, log into our Services, interact with our email notifications, authenticate with your account to a third-party service, we may receive information about you. This log data includes your IP address, browser type, operating system, configuration information provided by the WoHoo app or desktop browser, referring web pages, pages visited, location, your mobile carrier, device information (including device and application IDs), search terms (including queries that were not submitted as queries), and cookie information. We also receive log data when you click on, view or interact with a link or connection on our Services, as well as general information about your communications on WoHoo, such as the users you have communicated with and the date and duration of such communications (but not the content of such communications, except where required for safety and security reasons), including when and whether you install other applications through our Services. We use log data to operate our Services and to ensure their safe, secure, and robust performance. The purpose of using log data is to protect the security of accounts and to determine what content is popular on our Services, and importantly, log data is used to enable you to connect with new and previous connections on WoHoo. We also use this data to improve our Services and to enhance our own marketing efforts. We also use metadata, which is information about items provided to you through WoHoo, such as the date or place you made them, to connect through the WoHoo application.

We do not retain log data for longer than 30 days.

2.4 Personalization based on your inferred identity

When you log in to WoHoo on a browser or device, we associate that browser or device with your account for purposes such as authentication, security, and personalization. Depending on your settings, we may also associate your account with browsers or devices other than the one you used to log in to WoHoo (or associate a device or browser you logged out of with a different browser or device). When you provide WoHoo with other information, including an email address, we associate that information with your WoHoo account. Depending on your settings, we may also use this information to infer other information about your identity, such as associating your account with an email address hash that shares a common component with the email address you provided to WoHoo. We do this to operate and personalize our Services. 2.5. During the use of the Application

Device Information – WoHoo may collect and store information about the device you use to install and access the App, such as your device model, unique device identifiers, IP address, device capabilities, and statistics on page views.

Your Activity - WoHoo may collect and store information about your and others' usage and activity within the App and our Website, including matches, number of member matches, match duration, text messages, music selections made using the App messaging service, and usage by region. We require access to your device to use and copy your photos for your profile picture and any photos/media files you choose to share so that they can be copied within the App and our Website. We need to be able to access your camera/microphone and record video/audio so that we can provide video and audio, including music files and related files, for your use and enjoyment of the Services when using the App and our Website, and to help us meet our compliance requirements, such as ensuring that no one under the age of 18 uses our App or our Website.

Content You Share - WoHoo allows you to share your profile, interests, text messages, photos, screenshots, videos, music, and other communications with other users, and if you choose to do so, your in-app profile, interests, text messages, photos, screenshots, videos, music selections, and other communications will be stored on our servers. In addition, if you choose to share these items with other WoHoo users, we may not be able to remove them from our servers or make them available to anyone with whom you shared them. By choosing to share such information, you agree that you may no longer be able to control how that information is used and that it may become public (depending in part on your actions or the actions of other users with whom you share information). WoHoo is not responsible for any use or misuse of such information that you share with other users. You can refer to Section 7 below for more information about the parties with whom you may choose to share content.

Content You Create - We may also collect and store any user content (such as photos, screenshots, comments, interests, and other materials) that you create or post on the App ("User Content").

Information about transactions conducted through our Services – In order to complete a transaction, you will be asked to provide your payment information, which may include your credit card number, card expiration date, CVV code, and billing address. In such cases, we will securely transfer your information directly to the third-party vendor or merchant, who will collect such information to process and fulfill your purchase. WoHoo may process or store your payment information. However, we may store additional information about your purchases on the App, which may include the name of the merchant, the date, time, and amount of the transaction, and other behavioral information, such as your purchase history.

Error Report Information – If the App crashes or otherwise does not function properly, we also collect error report information so that we can investigate the error and improve the stability of the App in future versions. Generally, these reports do not contain personally identifiable information or are only incidental. These error reports contain information such as the type and version of the device, the device identifier, when the error occurred, the features being used, and the state of the App when the error occurred. We do not use this information for any purpose other than investigating and fixing the error.

2.6. System permissions called

As mentioned above, in order to provide you with WoHoo products and/or services, we may need to use the system permissions in your device (excluding permissions called by third parties) to collect relevant personal information. Although we have already touched upon this in the previous section, this section will summarize and organize all system permissions used by the WoHoo App to facilitate a more systematic, complete and transparent presentation to you. You can choose whether to authorize us to use the relevant permissions of your device. If you do not authorize us to use the relevant permissions, some services may be unavailable, but it will not affect your use of other functions of the WoHoo App.

2.6.1 . Photo album and storage permissions

Once you agree to enable this permission, we will use the photo album reading and storage function on your device. This function will be used to upload text, images, videos and other content in your device, and can also cache text, images, and video content generated during your use of WoHoo products and/or services. Please be aware that we will not automatically read the storage content of your local photo album, and will only obtain image/video data after you agree to enable this permission and actively select the corresponding image in the album. If you refuse this authorization, the aforementioned function will not work properly.

2.6. 2. Microphone Permissions

Once you agree to enable this permission, we will use the microphone function on your device and recognize the voice information you upload . This permission will be used to implement voice input and voice chat functions, and to collect and recognize the voice information input during the implementation of the above functions . If you refuse this authorization, the above functions will not be available.

2.6. 3. Message push permissions

Once you agree to enable this permission, we will push messages to you so that you can receive and understand our notifications in a timely manner. If you refuse this authorization, you will not be able to receive the messages we push to you.

2.6. 4. Camera permissions

Once you agree to enable this permission, we will use the camera function on your device. This function will be used to take photos, record videos, and make video calls , etc. , and collect and identify the pictures and videos taken or recorded during the implementation of the above functions . If you refuse this authorization, the above functions will not be available.

2.6.5 . Floating window permissions

In order to float content such as "Voice Chat Room " on other content, we will apply for your floating window permission. If you refuse such authorization, the above functions will not be available.

2.6.6 . Device information access rights

After you agree to enable this permission, in order to protect your account and login security, we will collect your corresponding device information for optimizing user experience, security checks, identifying whether it is a commonly used device, and device binding status. If you are an Android user, your refusal to grant this authorization will result in your inability to use this product and/or service normally. If you are an iOS user, you may not be able to directly refuse or close the above authorization due to the restrictions of the iOS system, but for some device information (for example, IDFA information, which is subject to the actual situation updated from time to time by the iOS system policy), you can choose whether to authorize us to collect it. If you refuse to authorize, we may not be able to provide you with the corresponding functions or services (for example, if you refuse us to collect your IDFA information, we will not be able to provide you with personalized display based on the IDFA tracking identifier).

2.6.7 . Access the network and obtain network status permissions

Our APP can only connect to the Internet after you agree to enable this permission. At the same time, for the purpose of risk control and service provision, we can also monitor network changes and remind users of the current network environment. If you refuse this authorization, you will not be able to use this product and/or service normally.

2.7. When you visit our website

We may use online tracking technologies such as cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, and other similar technologies to automatically collect the following information:

Your visits to our website, such as your browsing history, how long you spend on our website and how often you visit; and

Location information provided by your mobile phone or other device when you interact with our Websites, including your IP address and general geographic location; and the device you use to browse our Websites (e.g., your device ID, operating system, device type, browser type and version, mobile application crashes and other system activity, and the third-party website you were using prior to interacting with our Services).

You have the right to disable any of these online tracking technologies. These help us ensure you are able to log into your account securely, develop our services by using data analytics, and develop new services for our users. 2.8. Age

The Service is not directed to children or persons under the age of eighteen (18), and we do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children or persons under the age of eighteen (18) as part of the Service. However, we do collect information about your age to ensure that underage users are not part of our platform, to maintain the security of our Service, and to use third parties to help us maintain the correct age profile for our applications. If we discover that we have inadvertently received or collected personally identifiable information from users under the age of eighteen (18) as part of the Service, we will delete such information from our records. If you are under the age of eighteen (18), please do not use the Service.

3. Your User Information

You can access, control and modify the information you provide for your user profile on the App (your "Profile") at any time. This includes your profile and profile pictures and videos, name, interests, languages you speak and your birthday, all of which can be shared with your WoHoo contacts. Therefore, please make sure you only share what you want to include in your Profile. Your Profile will be available to other users of the App who are related to you. In addition, your Profile can be discovered by other App users, for example, through the App Contacts list in the App, which includes your proximity to other users.

You may also choose to "block" any other WoHoo users in your contact list in the App, which will prevent them from discovering your profile at any time. In addition, if you are logged into your App account with your Google Account, WoHoo may pre-populate your profile with certain information, such as your name and profile picture, date of birth, email, gender, etc. You can delete and change your profile information in the App as described in Section 13 below and in our Safety Center.

4. Purpose and use of personal information

When collecting and using your data, we adopt the principle of data minimization and ensure that your data is only used for the purposes described below. We will only process your data for service-related and other related business purposes, including:

4.1 Provide you with services, including:

Connect you with other users within the Application;

Enable you to share your personal data with other users on the Application;

Provide you with the video and audio calling features of the App;

Allows you to send images and videos through the application;

Display to you the names of people with whom you are communicating, and display your name to people with whom you are communicating on the Application; and

Provide you with certain features of the App that may be offered from time to time, such as our Premium Services (see our Terms of Use), playing games and sharing/playing music during video calls.

Liaise with third parties for payment processing

To run analytics, provide you with better and relevant connections, provide you with additional offers, and provide you with updates on our Services.

4.2 Help us manage and maintain your account and user profile on the App, including:

Create and update your account;

And send you any administrative notices, alerts and communications related to your use of the App.

Facilitate communication opportunities through the Services and provide you with location or interest information relevant to other users of the Applications.

We use the information we have to develop, test and improve our services, including conducting surveys, compiling research, statistics and analysis and users’ habits and behaviors, such as transaction history, online interactions and testing and troubleshooting new products and features.

Process and process any payments for transactions conducted through the Services through Third Party Providers.

We use the information we hold to send you marketing communications and notices (including details of our membership loyalty program); and to communicate with you about our services and to let you know about our policies and terms.

When you contact us, we will also use your information to respond to you.

4.3 Promote safety, integrity and security.

For audit, compliance, control, safety and other risk management purposes, we use the information we have to verify accounts and activity, combat harmful behavior, detect and prevent other bad experiences, illegal behavior, maintain the integrity of our services, and promote safety and security. For example, we use a combination of automated detection technology and manual review of data to investigate suspicious activity or violations of our Terms of Use and policies (such as this Privacy Policy), and enable you to report and contact us if you have any questions.

4.4 For business administration purposes, including data and records management:

To establish, exercise and/or defend our legal rights.

Comply with our legal, regulatory and reporting requirements to regulators.

Ensure user safety through content review.

In connection with a corporate transaction involving WoHoo, such as the purchase or sale of a business unit, acquisition, merger, sale of assets or other similar event.

To enable us to provide the Services to you and our contractual commitments.

4.5 Information in our Services:

We connect information about you and your activities on WoHoo with other applications and services we offer to provide you with a broad range of engaging experiences and to provide a more tailored and consistent experience when you use the Services.

5. Legal basis for processing your data

There are different legal reasons for processing your data when you use our services. For these legal reasons, we process your data based on one or more of the following bases.

Necessary for the performance of our contract (Terms of Use with you)

Legitimate Interests. Where processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by us or a third party (e.g. fraud prevention, network and information security, internal administration purposes), except where such interests are overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms which require protection of personal information.

Your consent. When you agree to us processing your personal information for a specific purpose, such as to provide our services and other items you request.

Compliance with law. Processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or requirement.

It is necessary in the public interest and to protect your vital interests or those of another person.

6. Parties with whom you may choose to share your User Content

Any information or content that you voluntarily disclose or post on the App, such as your User Content, will be available to the public. Once you share or make such User Content public, the User Content may be viewed and re-shared by others, and once the content is public, it may be impossible to prevent the distribution of that content.

Even if you delete any User Content you created or posted on the App (e.g., screenshots, etc.), copies of such User Content may remain accessible in cached and archived pages of the App, or if other users or third parties have copied or saved such information.

Any personally identifiable information that you: (i) share in text messages, photos, videos or otherwise share with other users within or through the App; or (ii) submit through live messaging on the App, may be viewed and used by others. WoHoo is not responsible for any use or misuse of such information you share or submit.

7. Direct Marketing

If you opt-in to receive direct marketing content from us through your notifications, you agree that we may use your personally identifiable information;

send you direct marketing communications, such as about coin launches, latest news, events, updates, offers, competitions and promotions related to our services; or

Analyse your preferences, online behaviour and transaction history to gain insights so that we can tailor the updates, promotions, offers and services we present to you through our websites, our applications, our direct marketing communications, social media or other communications (such as email).

We will always ask for your consent before providing you with direct marketing information. You can opt out of receiving such direct marketing communications from us at any time. Please see the "Your Data Protection Rights" section below.

8. Data access and deletion

You can always control the information you choose to share with us on the App (except for information we have instructed you to provide). You can do this by changing your settings in the App or on your mobile device. Alternatively, you can delete the App entirely from your mobile device.

You can choose to delete your data at any time. If you ask us to delete your account, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to delete your data from our servers, subject to any applicable legal or other requirements to maintain certain records of your personally identifiable data. Please note that deleting your personally identifiable data from our databases may result in our inability to provide you with services.

9. Outbound Links

If you visit a website or application provided by a third party, including through an application or website, that third party may also collect information about you. We do not own or control, and are not responsible for, the privacy practices of third-party websites or applications. Please refer to the privacy policies of these third parties for more information about how they collect and use the information they collect about you. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any exchange of information between you and any such third parties.

10. Security

Protecting your privacy and personal information is WoHoo's top priority. We protect the privacy and security of all personally identifiable information you provide to us. We stress test our systems to help us improve. Access to all personally identifiable information is strictly limited to WoHoo's employees, contractors, agents, third-party partners and service providers who need to know that information in order to provide, operate, develop, maintain, support or improve the Services or otherwise carry out any of the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. WoHoo implements appropriate technical and physical security measures, such as the use of password protection, access logs and system monitoring to maintain the confidentiality and security of all user information to prevent any loss or unauthorized disclosure, use and modification.

However, due to the inherent nature of the Internet and related technologies, we cannot guarantee protection against any loss, misuse or alteration of information under our control.

Your information may be stored and processed in any country in which WoHoo or its service providers maintain facilities. WoHoo reserves the right to transfer information outside of your country for this purpose, or for the purposes of sharing or disclosing data as described in this Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country. When we transfer personal information internationally, we implement safeguards consistent with applicable law. If you would like to learn more about our personal data transfer practices, please contact us using the contact information listed under the Contact Information section.

We may also pseudonymize or aggregate personal information for analytical purposes. This helps us develop new and improve existing services, conduct fraud detection and account security analysis, analyze usage trends, and provide third-party service providers with basic statistics about how WoHoo users use their services.

11. Retention of your data

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless we are required by law to retain it for longer. Once we no longer require your personal data, we will irreversibly anonymize it or securely delete it from our servers.

WoHoo wants to ensure that you are fully aware of all your data protection rights. Specifically, you are entitled to the following rights:

You have the right to obtain confirmation from WoHoo as to whether your personal information is being processed and, if this is the case, to request a copy of your personal information.

You have the right to receive the personal information you have provided to WoHoo in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to have that personal information transmitted to another controller without hindrance from WoHoo to which you have provided the personal information, in the following circumstances:

The processing is based on your consent; and

the processing is carried out by automated means;

Right to object:

You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal information on grounds relating to your particular situation.

WoHoo will no longer process the Personal Information unless WoHoo demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;

Right to complain:

If you believe that WoHoo has violated one or more of your rights, you have the right to lodge a complaint with our Data Protection Officer (details below).

13. Exercising your data protection rights

If you would like to update or delete the personal information you have submitted, you can do so through the application. Alternatively, you can send your request to our customer service at APP_EMAIL. You have the right to make a complaint about how WoHoo manages your personal information. You can file a complaint with WoHoo’s Data Protection Officer, whose contact details are listed in the “Contact Information” section below, or by email to APP_EMAIL, or with your local data protection supervisory authority.

14. Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your browser or device by websites, applications, online media and advertisements when you visit a website.

We use cookies and other similar identification technologies, such as web beacons and pixel tags, on our websites, apps, emails, and online advertisements for various purposes, including to authenticate users; remember user preferences and settings to enhance your experience when you return to our websites or apps; deliver relevant content and advertisements based on your preferences, location, and usage patterns; monitor, evaluate, and optimize the operation of our websites and apps; track and measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns; and analyze traffic to our websites, our apps, and our partners’ websites.

Most browsers are set by default to accept cookies or prompt you to accept cookies, but you are free to delete or block all browser cookies. However, if you turn off cookies, some of our services may not function properly and you will not be able to get the most efficient and personalized experience.

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time at our sole discretion. You can review updates to our Privacy Policy at any time through the link on our website.
